Career Overview

 

For 25 years, I have met the challenges of managing organizations in

a continually changing environment. I have gained considerable

experience in the executive management of rapidly evolving

companies as well as solid strategic, managerial, logistical and

technological background in various countries.

 

Over the last few years, I have been in advising roles to CEO’s on

matters of Corporate Governance, including planning, objective setting and realisation. I am involved in matters of Strategy, Product management, Sales, Distribution, Contract, HR, Development and Operations.

 

As a key executive, I have applied my leadership and management skills in various industries: Software development, Biotechnology, Retail, Distribution, Insurance, Steel, Education, Aerospace and Telecommunications.

 

As an engineer, I have applied my skills in supply chain management, operations, customer services, logistics, information systems, and telecommunications.

 

I have been a member of several industry committees and have been a speaker at various conferences.

 

I have also served the community as a board member of Collège Durocher St-Lambert where he served in mandates as vice-president and treasurer where I was a key member of the team that realized the orderly transfer of ownership from a religious order to a non-profit organisation.

I am a leader with strong belief that the key resource of an enterprise is its People.

I have learned that people, technology and processes must be leveraged into supporting the vision, the strategies, the sales and the operations of the Enterprise.

 

Leveraging the people is the key to success. I have gained considerable experience dealing with people in changing environment related to rapid growth as well as reorganization.

 

I am known to be a result oriented leader who identifies the challenges, articulate a vision, develop strategies, creatively analyze situation and processes, establish and meet objectives, put in place the required organization and resources, and develop the potential of the organisation.

 

As an interim executive, I have helped customers create their business strategies, review and adjust their operations, sales, R&D, and manufacturing activities, improve their inventory management, create project and product management culture, improve corporate communications and understand Supply chain management.

 

I have worked on many executive mandates, some of which are:

·        For a software development start-up, as an acting COO, review the strategy; establish product management, software development process, pre-sales and post-sales support as well as establishing sales strategies and annual plan.

·        For an aerospace company, helped the CEO answer a critical and very elaborate RFP.

·        For a chain of hardware stores, reviewed their management of the inventory and recommended changes that will dramatically improve their profit while reducing the inventory and its movements.

·        Helped a software organisation to reposition their products in line with the market requirements.

·        Review the manufacturing and operations to ensure that the organization is able to meet its production targets.

·        Explained Supply Chain management and how it fits into the strategy of a software supplier in the context of the establishment of a marketing plan.

·        Setting up a project management office and coaching the director in charge as well as his executives,

·        Creating an Operational Management Team,

·        Providing project management and general communications skills training,

·        Completing full operational diagnostics for a company, and

·        Facilitating executive meetings.
